Doug Britton Legacy Newsletter — February 27, 2019

Hi __________________,

In my prayers, I often ask God to help me be less “self-sufficient” and more dependent on him. For me, that means remembering that the Holy Spirit lives in me and that I always need to depend on Him. If you (or someone you know) also struggles with this, I invite you to read about living in the Holy Spirit’s power in my two latest online Bible studies.

God’s Spirit (Really) Lives in You — New online Bible study
When you think about God, where do you think he is? If you’re like most of us, you might say “in heaven”—and you would be right. But you’d only be partially right. If you are a believer, God’s Spirit—also known as the Holy Spirit—lives in you. God’s Spirit (Really) Lives in You

Depend on God’s Power (Not Your Own) — New online Bible study
It’s easy to simply depend on our own ideas and abilities as we go through life. This study encourages us to be aware of our inadequacies and to remember to draw upon God’s wisdom and power. Depend on God’s Power (Not Your Own)

How to Lead a Christ-Centered Small Group — Featured book
Learn practical group-leadership skills and how to deal with common small-group problems. More importantly, discover how to create a group that is Christ-centered, one in which each member grows closer to God regardless of the type of group or the topic you are studying. How to Lead a Christ-Centered Small Group

In case you missed it…
How well do you serve your spouse?
Say “no” to advertising lies
Focus on changes you should make (not others)

That’s it for today. May God continue to direct and bless your path.

In Christ,
Doug
