Doug Britton Legacy Newsletter — June 11, 2020
Hi __________________,
If you’re like me, there are times in your life when you have done or said something that was really hurtful to others or to your own walk with God. I am SO glad that God is with us, even at these times, and that he offers us his love, forgiveness, and grace—and that he helps us learn from our failures.
New Bible Studies
Overcoming Failure—Part 1: David’s Example
Even if you really fail, God has a plan to help you deal with the consequences and move forward. the question is, will failure overcome us, or will we (with God’s help) overcome failure? As we study David’s example, we can see there is hope for us when we repent and turn to God.
Overcoming Failure—Part 2: Learn from Your Failures
Our failures can devastate us. In fact. they can cause us to give up, thinking God doesn’t like us and that we no longer have purpose in life. This Bible study uses Paul’s experience to show that no matter what we have done—with God’s help—we can learn from our failures and live purposeful, Christ-centered lives.
Parts 3 and 4 of “Overcoming Failure” are coming soon. I will announce them in the next email newsletter.
