Keep a Couple’s Prayer Chart

Make sure you pray as a couple every day

Page Summary
Summary: Praying together daily can transform your marriage. The problem for many of us is that we don’t remember to pray because we are so busy. This prayer chart will remind you to pray together as well as help you keep a record of how many times you prayed.

Prayer Chart: Introduction

Pray with Your Spouse Every Day, another free online Bible study, describes how you and your mate can set up a routine of praying together from one to three times a day. (Three types of prayer are discussed in that study, each scheduled for a different time of day.) More detailed information and advice can be found in Making Christ the Cornerstone, book 2 in “Marriage by the Book.”

Prayer Chart: Instructions

Post this prayer chart in a visible place to remind yourselves to pray. Use charts for as many months as necessary until you develop the habit of praying together regularly.

Check the appropriate column each time you pray. If you miss a prayer time, write the reason for not praying and your plans to improve in the “Comments” column.
